Electrical Charge Units

Coulomb (C) — The SI base unit of electric charge. 1 C is the charge transferred by 1 ampere in 1 second.

Millicoulomb (mC) — 1 mC = 0.001 C. Used for moderate charge quantities.

Microcoulomb (μC) — 1 μC = 10⁻⁶ C. Widely used in electronics and capacitor specifications.

Nanocoulomb (nC) — 1 nC = 10⁻⁹ C. Common in electrostatics and small capacitors.

Ampere-Hour (Ah) — 1 Ah = 3,600 C. Commonly used to specify battery capacity. A 1 Ah battery can supply 1 A for 1 hour.
